We work with young people, fostering a strong jewish identity, teaching them to reach out to those in need in local communities. Our Hillel Foundation provides a strong network of supporrt for jewish college students. Our B'nai B'rith Youth organization teaches kids about civic leadership and their Jewish heritage. B'nai B'rith provides housing for more than 4,000 senior citizens of all faiths. We are the world's largest Jewish-sponsored community service organization.
We are there when disaster strikes. We are in Somalia, fighting famine. In San Francisco and Mexico City helping earthquake victims. In Florida assisting thousands displaced by Hurricane Andrew. B'nai B'rith has spearheaded several monetary disaster relief efforts raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for the disasters listed above as well as the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing
We are in Israel assisting in the resettlement of new immigrants. We are in the UN voicing strong support for Israel and human rights. We are in the halls of Congress and the office of Prime ministers and Presidents , untiring advicates of our people everywhere.
Today in Moscow and Los Angeles, London and El Paso, the dream of a small group of New York City immigrants 150 years ago loves on - uniting persons of the Jewish faith in the work of promoting humanity to its highest level.
